"We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values," is stated.
Members of the greater Patchogue community have previously expressed concerns about ICE activity in the area.
The protest will be canceled if there is heavy rain, or a big snowstorm, but regardless, organizers encouraged participants to "bundle up."
Swan Lake Park is located at the corner of Lake Drive and East Main Street.
Parking can be found on Lake Drive, about 200 feet from the corner.
The protest will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
