Iconic Emmy Award-Winning Actress Sally Struthers To Appear In The Full Monty In Bellport

The actress, who is best-known as Gloria Bunker on "All in the Family," will bring an "extra layer of heart and hilarity," producers say.

BELLPORT, NY — Iconic stage and screen actress Sally Struthers is set to appear in The Full Monty at The Gateway Playhouse in Bellport.

The musical, which is based on the hit cult film, is set in post-industrial Buffalo and follows six laid-off steelworkers facing hard times and limited options, so they plan to make money from a strip show.

The Emmy Award-winning actress will bring star power, impeccable timing, and irresistible warmth to The Gateway's stage, producers said.

"Her presence adds an extra layer of heart and hilarity to a show already packed with big laughs and bigger emotions," they said in a promo for the musical. "See a beloved television icon live, up close, in a blue-collar musical comedy that proves it is never too late to start over or to surprise the people who think they know you best."

In addition to Struthers, musical will star Emily Brockway, E Mani Cadet, Alex Fullerton, Mia Gentile, Clayton Howe, Rory Max Kaplan, Ian Knauer, Dakota Mackey-McGee, and Justin Wolfe Smith.

Rounding out the cast will be Franco Bianchi, Miles D Hanna, Timothy Hearl, Lance Jewett, Katie Luke, Kelly MacMillan, Franco Tomaino, Crystal Renée Wright, and introducing Theo Crossley and Gavin Gronenthal.

The Gateway’s Creative Team for The Full Monty includes Director and Choreographer Keith Andrews, who has directed over 30 productions at The Gateway. Andrews is joined by Associate Director and Choreographer Kelly MacMillan, Intimacy Director Ashley Klinger, Music Director Michael McAssey, and Associate Music Director Hosun Moon.

Tickets start at $59.

Performances run March 13 through April 12.
