JVC Broadcasting To Hold Food Drive For Brookhaven's INTERFACE Program
Staffers from its five radio stations, Party 105, My Country 96.1, La Fiesta 98.5, LI News Radio 103.9, and Oldies 98.1, will be on hand.
PATCHOGUE, NY — JVC Broadcasting is hosting its annual food drive at Compare Foods in Patchogue this month to support the Town of Brookhaven's INTERFACE Program.
It will be held Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 257 Rte. 112.
All JVC's radio stations, including Party 105, My Country 96.1, La Fiesta 98.5, LI News Radio 103.9, and Oldies 98.1, will be there collecting food donations. The media company has been very successful in raising donations in past years and its staffers are looking forward to continuing the tradition this year, Brookhaven officials said.

Suggested food items for donations are all non-perishables including, but not limited to canned soups, vegetables, and fruits, especially cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, and sweet or white potatoes. Stuffing mix, instant potatoes, rice, jar or canned sauce, macaroni, pudding, Jello, cookie mix, icing, and juice are also being sought.
The media company is also collecting $10 gift cards to local supermarkets so that families in need can purchase a turkey.
