Investigators are using genealogic testing to identify the woman who was found buried under a patio, Newsday reports.

BELLPORT, NY — Investigators are using DNA testing to help identity remains — found in 1999 buried under a patio in Bellport — of a woman known only as "Marie," Newsday reported.

Convicted killer Arthur Kinlaw admitted to investigators to stabbing "Marie" about eight times and then burying her over an argument about rent back in 1983, according to the outlet.

Sixty-eight-year-old Kinlaw, who is serving 20 years to life in upstate, didn’t tell investigators "Marie's" identity and after her remains were found the case went cold, but in 2001, detectives sent her skull to a federal lab and artists rendered a sketch, Newsday reported.
