PATCHOGUE, NY — Eighties pop icon Debbie Gibson will be playing the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts as part of her The Body Remembers Tour on June 19.

Gibson burst onto the music scene at 16 years old with her breakout single, "Only in my dreams," in 1986 and it quickly rose to the top of the charts. She instantly became the youngest artist in history to write, produce, and perform a number one hit, "Foolish Beat," in 1988, theatre officials said, adding that she is still the youngest female to hold the record — holding it for over three decades.

Gibson, 52, has sold more than 16 million albums and has starred in 17 musicals in 17 years, from Broadway's "Les Miserables" to the West End's "Grease," according to officials.
