Long Island St. Liberata Parade, Festival Kicks Off Saturday
It will also feature a Bocce tournament, traditional foods, and a Zeppole eating contest and Vino in the Village Wine Walk.
PATCHOGUE, NY — The Village of Patchogue will host the St. Liberata parade and feast this Saturday.
The event will begin with a blessing by local parish priests at noon on Main Street and that will be followed by a parade featuring a statue of the saint, an Italian marching band, and cultural groups.
This year's event will honor Steve Fuoco as Italian-American of the year.

The afternoon will also include live music and entertainment and a Bocce Tournament. There will also be plenty of traditional Italian foods available, not to mention a Zeppole eating contest and Vino in the Village Wine Walk.
The festivities along Main Street will end at 5 p.m.
