He exposed himself on two separate occaisions, including once in front of a woman and her child, police said.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A 67-year-old Patchogue man was arrested on Sunday after Suffolk police say he exposed himself on two separate occaisions at an apartment complex, including one instance in front of a mother and her child.

Police said a woman called 911 on Sunday to report a man had exposed himself to her in the lobby of the Terry Apartments on Rider Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Another woman had also reported to the superintendent that a man had "committed a lewd act" in her presence and that of her child in the same lobby on Jan. 15 at about 11 a.m., according to police.

Police could not say if the women were residents of the complex due to the nature of the crime.

Fifth Squad detectives arrested Jerry Sibony, a resident of the complex, and charged him with three counts of public lewdness and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, police said. Sibony was scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.

The investigation is continuing, so detectives are asking anyone who believes they may also be a victim of Sibony to call them directly at 631-854-8552, or Crime Stoppers, a confidential hotline, at 1-800-220-8477, or 911.
