Man Burglarized 4 Patchogue Car Dealerships: PD
The 28-year-old was charged in connection to four burglaries that took place over the past month, police said.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A Patchogue man was arrested on Thursday in connection to burglaries reported at four car dealerships in Patchogue over the past month, according to Suffolk police.
An employee at Nissan 112 on 730 Route 112 saw a man inside the garage bays of the car dealership through a security camera system early Thursday, police said. After arriving at the dealership, the employee found the man trying to find an open car on the lot and called 911 at 6 a.m., police said.
The man, later identified as 28-year-old Daniel Noble, fled the scene on foot and was caught by a Fifth Precinct officer on Medford Avenue in Medford at 8:20 a.m., police said.

Also on Thursday morning, police received a 911 call at 7:45 a.m. reporting a burglary at Stevens Ford on 507 Medford Avenue reporting a burglary, police said. According to the report, an unknown person or persons had entered the dealership overnight and stolen a laptop, inspection stickers and keys to multiple car before fleeing the scene in a 2015 white Ford Explorer from the lot, police said.
Detectives linked Noble to both burglaries and recovered several of the stolen items, police said.

According to police following an investigation, officers found that Noble was responsible for a total of four burglaries at the following dealerships in Patchogue since August:
- Barons Honda on 17 Medford Ave. on Aug. 17 at 8:40 a.m.
- Stevens Ford on 507 Medford Ave. on Aug. 30 at 4 p.m.
- Stevens Ford on 507 Medford Ave. on Sept. 17 at 1 a.m.
- Nissan 112 on 730 Route 112 on Sept. 17 at 4:55 a.m.
Noble was charged with four counts of third degree burglary, third degree criminal possession of stolen property and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
He was overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
