Man, 68, Struck By Car, Killed In Suffolk
He was taken by South Country Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Suffolk police said.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A man was struck by a car and killed Wednesday night in East Patchogue, Suffolk police said.
Police said a woman was driving a 2021 Honda CRV westbound on South Country Road, when it struck William Burrows as he was crossing the roadway northbound from South Dunton Avenue, just before 9:30 p.m.
Burrows, 68, of Bellport, was taken by South Country Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died, police said. The driver was not injured in the crash, according to police.
