Man Taken to Hospital After Robbery in Patchogue Parking Lot

The incident occurred early Sunday morning.

Police are investigating a robbery in Patchogue early Sunday morning that sent a 35-year-old man to the hospital with facial injuries.

According to police, an unknown male punched the victim in the face sometime between 2- 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the Emporium on Railroad Avenue.

The assailant stole the man’s Samsung cellphone, a necklace and a bracelet, police said.

The victim was treated at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. No arrests have been made.
