Suffolk Woman Caught Speeding On Sunrise Highway Had 65 License Suspensions: Cops

When officers pulled her over just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, they found her license had been suspended on 11 dates, police said.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A Medford woman caught speeding on Sunrise Highway in Patchogue Tuesday morning had 65 license suspensions on her record, Suffolk police said.

Fifth Precinct officers began a traffic stop on the eastbound side of the highway, near Exit 52, just after 2 a.m., after seeing a 2000 Honda Accord, and when they pulled over the 23-year-old driver, they found that her license had been suspended 65 times on 12 dates, according to police.

She was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, and she was also issued a summons for speeding. She will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
