Meet The New Owner Of The Green House Cafe

PATCHOGUE, NY — The new cafe officially opened up in the Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue recently. West Islip resident Rob Cutrone took over the The Green House Cafe on 101 Hospital Road, which is officially opened for business.

This is not the first business venture for the 27-year-old, who also owns The Bean Of Patchogue on West Main Street and the co-owner of the East End Coffee Roasters on Main Street in Center Moriches. He describes his latest business as a "fast, casual cafe."

Patch: What made you want to open this business?

Cutrone: I saw a tremendous opportunity to solve a problem, all while creating a sense of community.

P: What makes your business unique?

C: I believe that i am bringing hospitality to the hospital, as well as value and convenience, and great quality food/products.

P: What's the best business advice you've ever received?

C: The best fertilizer for a farmer is his own footprints.

P: Why did you decide to open your business in Patchogue? Why is this a good place for your business?

C: We saw a tremendous opportunity to provide convenience and quality Long Island Community hospital.

P: What makes Patchogue special?

C: Patchogue and/or Long Island Community hospital is home of one of the most hard working, dedicated and supportive communities.

P: What's one thing you want your customers to know about your business?

C: That we open to suggestions, ideas and feedback from all of our customers.

P: What's one fun fact about you?

C: I had dinner with Eli Manning.
