Multiple Car Break-Ins Reported In Patchogue, East Patchogue

Over the past few weeks, several incidents of thefts from cars in the area have been reported.

PATCHOGUE, NY - Several thefts from cars have been reported in both the Patchogue and East Patchogue area recently. Last month, three cars on Hewlett Street were broken in the early morning on December 28, according to a report in News12.

A homeless man, Walter Miller was arrested in connection to those incidents and charged with fourth degree grand larceny, News12 reports. He allegedly stole a laptop and wallet containing credit cards.

However it seems the car break-ins didn't stop there. A local resident told Patch that there has been another string of car break-ins in the Patchogue Village area over the past few weeks.
