3 Firefighters Injured Battling East Patchogue Fire
The blaze was reported Sunday afternoon.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY - Three firefighters were injured while battling an East Patchogue blaze on Sunday afternoon.
Suffolk Police confirmed the blaze was reported on 293 East Main Street on September 29 at 4:15 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.

A spokesperson for the North Patchogue Fire Department confirmed that two firefighters were burned and one was taken to the hospital.

The Medford, Hagerman, Patchogue and North Patchogue fire departments all responded to the scene.
Residents were able to see the smoke from the fire from several blocks away.
