Ozzy Osbourne Tribute Coming To Patchogue Theatre For The Performing Arts

"Sabbath: Long Live Ozzy" will include a concert recreation of Black Sabbath's 50 years, featuring the Ozzy and Dio years, promoters say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Music’s Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, might be gone, but his music continues to entertain.

In a tribute to the English heavy metal legend, the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, has announced a night filled with his music on Aug. 22

“Sabbath: Long Live Ozzy” will include a complete concert recreation of Black Sabbath's 50 years, featuring the Ozzy and Dio years, “performed note for note to album perfection," concert promoters say.

The Birmingham native, who headed up Black Sabbath before going solo in the 80s, died last July after battling Parkinson’s disease.

He is best known for hits like “Mr. Crowley,” “Iron Man,” ‘War Pigs,” “Mama I’m Coming Home,” “Crazy Train,” “Shot In The Dark,” and “Close My Eyes Forever.”

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday at 10 a.m.
