Pair Charged In Mastic Beach Beating: Suffolk Police

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man and a woman have been charged in a Mastic Beach beating on Friday, Suffolk police said.

Quashon Buckner, 27, of Wyandanch and Jahquaisha Langhorn, 24, of Bellport punched a man about the head and face, causing him to bleed at a location on Jefferson Drive at about 2:45 p.m., police said. It is not clear if the victim required medical attention at the hospital.

Buckner and Langhorn were charged with third-degree assault, a misdmeanor, police said. Buckner was released on his own recognizance, and is due back in court on Feb. 9, according to online court records. Court information was not available for Langhorn.
