Pat-Med HS Senior Named Finalist For Miss New York Teen USA
Find out how you can help the local teen make it to the competition, which will take place this month.

MEDFORD, NY — A Patchogue-Medford High School senior was recently named a state finalist in the 2020 Miss New York Teen USA pageant and is now seeking help from the community to raise money for the competition.
Isabella Scuteri found out she was an official finalist last fall, which is the first step for her then move on the Miss Teen USA pageant.
Scuteri is an AP and honors student involved in clubs such as the Red and Black newspaper, yearbook, RaiderTV and PTSA, where she is co-vice President. In addition, she is a member of three National Honor Societies and one International Honor Society.

Now, Scuteri needs help to attend the special event. She recently started a campaign on GoFundMe to help raise money to get her to the pageant later this month.
"The sponsorship donations will help pay for my expenses during the 3-day, 2-night program, including food and lodging..." she wrote on the page.

The competition will take place between January 17 and 19 at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College.
Scuteri is looking to raise a total of $2,000 through the fundraiser. As of Monday she has reached over half of her goal with $1,245 in donations.
