Pat-Med 'Pride Wall' Honors Past, Present, Future
"It is truly special and should serve as a source of pride for our community and school district."

From Patchogue- Medford Schools: If you’ve been to the football field behind Patchogue-Medford High School in the last couple of months you should have noticed a beautifully designed “pride wall” depicting district athletic history.
“This project is dedicated to the all of our Patchogue-Medford family, past, present and future,” said Ryan Cox, Pat-Med’s Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health Education and Student Health Services. “Patchogue-Medford is truly an amazing community with lots of pride and tradition.
Cox said the “pride wall” is there to remind everyone of the school district’s athletic history, which dates back more than 100 years and, “to honor the student-athletes that competed before us, the present students and athletes and the future of our district. The ideology that 'Once a Raider, Always a Raider' resonates within all of us. Play for something bigger than us, for those that came before, for our community, for our school district and for our families. Raider Pride!”
Images on the wall range from the 1920's, Pat-Med alum Michael P. Murphy, a Medal of Honor recipient and the campus’ namesake, Pat-Med alum and Major League pitcher, Marcus Stroman, and current teams and players, and other graduates.
“It is truly special and should serve as a source of pride for our community and school district,” said Cox.
