UPDATE: Man Robs Patchogue Bank
Police have released details on robbery Saturday afternoon.
PATCHOGUE, NY - Police are searching for a man who robbed a Patchogue bank Saturday afternoon.
According to police, a man entered the TD Bank located at 251 E. Main St. at 12:25 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot southbound.
The robber was described as black, about 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, bald with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt, dark jeans and sneakers.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
