Pine Barrens Jam is returning on Saturday, Aug. 20, with three music stages at Blue Point Brewing. Poetry, art, and music will line up at this special community event. All are welcome to join from noon until 10 p.m. (Eventbrite)
Police are investigating a Sunday night car crash on Ocean Avenue that injured six people. The accident happened at 8:45 p.m. One of the drivers involved is Justin Weber, who was transported to Stony Brook Hospital in critical condition. (Audacy)
The Patchogue-Medford Public Library will host a book discussion of "The Lost Boys of Montauk," by Amanda Fairbanks on a paddle boat at the Patchogue River! Participants will paddle down the river on Aug. 18 at 5:30 p.m. to enjoy great views and a good literature chat! (Patch)
Patchogue Arts Council features the Summer Ratgrrl Vendor Circus. The event will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, from 1 to 6 p.m. on Terry Street. Over 25 artists will display their creations to the public! All are welcome to attend. (PAC)
