Patchogue Panera Opening Monday

Free coffee and coffee tumblers will be given away on opening day (if you get there early enough); company hiring for new location.

Panera Bread will open its doors in Patchogue on Monday.

The bakery-café chain’s 30th Long Island location is in Waverly Plaza (367B Sunrise Highway) at the corner of Waverly Avenue and Sunrise Highway North Service Road.

To celebrate opening day Monday, the Patchogue Panera will give away free coffee for a week plus a Panera Bread coffee tumbler to the first 250 guests beginning at 6 a.m.

“We’re excited to open our newest location in Patchogue,” says Greg George, Vice President of Operations for Doherty Enterprises, Inc., the Panera Bread franchisee for Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. “As we continue to staff the café with enthusiastic associates, we are confident that people in the area will enjoy the better-for-you food options in the café or to-go. We look forward to meeting the first 250 guests on July 6 and giving them a cup of our delicious freshly brewed coffee for a week.”

Panera says it is actively looking to hire associates with experience (preferred), but not required. Qualified candidates must be 16 and over to apply and are encouraged to apply in person from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the Patchogue location with valid identification. Applicants can also fill out an application online by visiting www.panerabread.jobs. In addition, the bakery-café is hiring managers with two years of management/leadership experience. The Patchogue Panera Bread will serve breakfast from 5:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lunch and dinner are available until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, the café closes one hour earlier on Sunday.
