Patchogue Polar Plunge Postponed Until March 1 Due To Weather Forecast

The decision was made "to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, first responders, and spectators," organizers say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Patchogue Polar Plunge at Sandspit Marina has been postponed due to the freezing weather that the region has been experiencing, organizers announced in an email on Wednesday.

It has been rescheduled from Sunday to March 1.

"After carefully reviewing the upcoming weather forecast, we have decided — out of an abundance of caution — to postpone the Patchogue Plunge."
