Patchogue ShopRite To Be Featured On Cheerios Box

The local supermarket recently won a contest and was chosen to be featured on the popular cereal box. ​

PATCHOGUE, NY — A local supermarket recently beat out hundreds of stores in a contest to be featured on the Cheerios cereal box. The supermarket chain ShopRite held its annual Cheerios/Partners in Caring Contest, where each store competes to win a spot on the General Mills Cheerios box.

This year, the winner was the Patchogue store, located on 95 Sunrise Hwy. The business beat out 250 stores; all the money raised in the contest goes to feeding the hungry.

In honor of the win, the store will be hosting a Cheerios box unveiling March 13 at 10:30 a.m.
