The Patchogue Theater Ribbon Cutting Event was a Success
The ribbon cutting event is what I would call a "Class Event!"
The Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts Ribbon cutting ceremony, on Wednesday March, 30, 2016, was a total success. Mayor Pontieri cut the ribbon with a huge set of scissors… The scissors were three feet long! LOL! County, State, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony. The ribbon cutting ceremony was a “by invitation” event! I was amazed because there were about 60 journalists taking photos of our event! I must admit that I did not expect to see such a large turnout; I estimated that about 300 people and journalists attended our event. The four o’clock ribbon cutting was not open to the general public.
The ribbon cutting event is what I would call a “Class Event!” Yes…. We actually had a piano player performing on stage, and a classical music ensemble performing in the lobby. With Champagne and cake, what could be better than that! LOL!
