Pedestrian Dies In North Bellport Crash: Police

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A pedestrian died in a North Bellport crash Thursday night, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Station Road, south of Martha Avenue, at 10:35 p.m.

The victim, who has not yet been identified by police, was transported to NYU Langone Hospital - Suffolk in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives believe the victim was a Hispanic man who was about 30 years old, police said.
