Pedestrian Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Patchogue

BREAKING: It happened late Monday night.

PATCHOGUE, NY – A man was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Patchogue late Monday night, Suffolk Police said.

According to police, the 56-year-old man was attempting to cross East Main Street at Bay Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle, possibly a light-colored pickup truck, at about 11:25 p.m.

The victim, who police have not identified, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
