One was seriously injured and airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital; the other had non-life threatening injuries, Suffolk cops said.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Two teens were injured in a dirt bike crash at a motocross track on Long Island on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Christopher Schmidt was riding a dirt bike at 10th Street Motocross in Ronkonkoma, when he rode his bike over a ramp and his rear tire struck Michael Morelle, who was picking up his bike, at about 12:45 p.m., Suffolk police said.

Eighteen-year-old Morelle of Massapequa Park had been struck in the face and was transported by the Lakeland Fire Department to Stony Brook also, but for treatment of “non-life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
