Police: Man Hospitalized After Robbery on Main Street

Incident occurred early Saturday, police say.

Police are investigating a robbery in Patchogue Village early Saturday that sent a man to the hospital.

The incident occurred on West Main Street near South Ocean Avenue at 3:23 a.m. Saturday, police said.

According to police, a man was involved in an altercation with several other men who stole cash, an iPhone and house keys from the victim.

The victim was struck several times and was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

Police did not specify how serious the victim’s injuries were. No arrests have been made.
