Police: Man Robs Bohemia Bank

Police are on the hunt for a bank robber.

A Bohemia bank was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

According to police, a man entered the bank, located at 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 4:36 p.m., approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash.

The teller complied with the robber’s demand and the man fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. He was last seen heading east on Vets Highway.

The robber is described as an unshaven white male in his mid-20s, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall. He was wearing a light blue shirt, black shorts, a knit Jets cap and sunglasses at the time of the robbery, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
