Suffolk Man's Death: Police Want Info
Benjamin Herold, 41, died in October after police believe he was struck by a vehicle.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk police are seeking information about the circumstances that led to an East Patchogue man's death in October.
Benjamin Herold, 41, walked from 7-Eleven, at 1201 Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, to his home on Atlantic Avenue around 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 30. Approximately 30 minutes later, Herold was found outside his home with leg pain, police said. Herold was brought to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead.
His injuries could have stemmed from him being struck by a vehicle, police said.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who might have information about this incident.
