Police Seeking Man Who Stole From Patchogue Home Depot

Do you recognize him? Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who they say stole items from a Patchogue store last month.

On Sept. 17, a man entered Home Depot, located at 10 Gateway Boulevard, and removed two lock sets and a chandelier, police said. When stopped by store security, the man used a stolen license as identification prior to fleeing, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s with a thin chin strap facial hair. He was wearing a dark-colored football jersey and jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
