Popular Mystery Edible Tour Returns To Patchogue
The event has returned to Main Street with some changes due to the coronavirus.
PATCHOGUE, NY — Food Done It has officially brought back its edible mystery tour — with a few changes due to the coronavirus. The company started in Patchogue and expanded to Huntington and Babylon in 2018.
Due to the coronavirus, the tours, which include participants visiting several different local restaurants to solve a mystery by unlocking clues at the various businesses, were put on hold — until now. However, due to restrictions the tour will look a little different than in previous years.
So far the tours are only taking place in area, Patchogue's Main Street. The "Milk-Shakedown" mystery will include a pre-set menu with five foods and two desserts at different local eateries. Only small private tours will be allowed with groups of two to 10 people. The tours are open to all ages, but participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Compared to previous tours, this year the tour will have seven courses instead of five and will only take three hours. The price is also slightly less at $53 plus tax/fees per person.
This year's tour will not include the typical moustache-glasses for now, but guests will get a disposable F.D.I. Logo "badge" stickers. The tour is all to-go food on the street until the last stop, where participants may be seated outside.
