Dean Murray Wins Back State Assembly Seat
Republican defeats Edward Hennessey in tight race Tuesday, according to unofficial results.

Republican Dean Murray has won back his seat in the State Assembly, according to unofficial results from the Suffolk Board of Elections.
With all election districts reporting, Murray leads Democratic incumbent Edward Hennessey by a margin of 11,686-11,057 in the 3rd Assembly District race.
In 2012, Hennessey won the seat from Murray by fewer than 300 votes.
