Retired NYPD Detective Shoots His 2 Sons, Then Kills Himself at Their Long Island Home: Police
BREAKING: The shooting occurred during a party at the home late Sunday night, police say.

BELLPORT, NY – A retired NYPD detective shot his two sons and then turned the gun on himself Sunday night during an argument at a Bellport home, Suffolk Police said.
Irvin Noak, 61, is dead, and his sons, Irvin Noak III, 30, and Aaron Noak, 22, are in critical condition following the shooting, police said.
According to police, Irvin Noak became involved in an argument with family members during a party at his home, located at 1906 Fox Glove Circle, when his two sons intervened.

Irvin Noak then retrieved a handgun from his bedroom and shot his two sons before shooting himself, police said.
Irvin Noak was transported via South Country Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead. Irvin Noak III and Aaron Noak, who also live at the home, were also transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center where they were admitted in critical condition.

There were other family members in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.
