Reward Offered For Information On Stolen Long Island Sculpture

PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk police are now offering a reward for any information the public might have about a sculpture that was stolen from a temporary art installation in Patchogue two weeks ago.

A metal and copper sculpture was stolen from the Patchogue Arts Council's Sculpture Garden on Terry Street sometime between Aug. 25 and Aug. 27. Its materials are valued at about $1,000, police said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the theft to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, utilizing a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store, or Google Play by searching P3 Tips,
