Royalenova Performing Arts' OPEN HOUSE!

Join in all of the fun at our open house on June 12, 2016, from 2-4:30 pm. We will have activities for the whole family! 2-4 pm Four Star Talent Mock Audition Workshop with SESAME STREET child talent coordinator Carolyn Volpe. Ages 5-12, $50 per child. This workshop will teach the children how to audition and engage in activities to help them gain confidence. Following this she will have an informational session for the parents that will cover audition techniques, what she looks for when casting a project, and information on breaking into the business. Participants are encouraged to bring a headshot and resume. 2:30-3 pm Hip Hop with Garrick. FREE and open to ALL! No ticket needed. Come to the studio and join in the fun.

3-3:30 pm Special Needs Dance Class introducing our NEW special needs program. FREE and open to ALL! No ticket needed. Come to the studio and join in the fun.

3-4:30 pm Acting Class with Barry Shapiro of Herman & Lipson Casting, with a 4-4:30 pm Q & A for parents/students interested in learning about the process of auditioning, etc. Ages 13 & up, $35 per child. Barry is a force in the field of commercial casting. He will be offering his unique insight and coaching skills in this comprehensive class. A fabulous opportunity to work with one of the TOP CASTING DIRECTORS in NYC with over 30 years experience in casting. Barry will be joining the Royalenova staff this summer for a three week session in July, and on Wednesdays this fall. This is a great way to try out his class!
