'Santa' Is Starting His Fire Truck Runs This Weekend In Patchogue

PATCHOGUE, NY — Santa Claus is starting his runs through the Patchogue Fire District this weekend.

His first run will be Saturday in the Northeast section. That will be followed by Monday and Tuesday in the northwest section, and then Thursday and Friday in the southeast section. His runs finish next Saturday in the southwest section of the district. The division line for the district is the four corners.

You can listen for Santa and his escorts riding on the fire truck after 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, after 3 p.m.

Fire department officials advised residents to have "a very safe and happy holiday season from all of your friends and neighbors at the Patchogue Fire Department," in a recent Facebook post.
