American Red Cross Lifeguard Program

Requirements

Participants must be:

-at least 15 years old

-able to swim 300 yards

(200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle or Breaststroke)

-able to retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the pool

-able to swim 15 yds underwater

-Registration minimum 6

-Registration maximum 12

COURSE FEE:

-$200 for Sayville residents

-$210 for Non-Sayville residents

Certification costs:

-$80 for all (CPR/AED, First Aid, Lifeguarding)

-$40 for CPR potion only

-$20 for CPR pocket mask

Class Meetings:

- 7pm – 10pm

- Prerequisite class February 25, 2016

- CPR portion February 29- March 4, 2016

- Lifeguard portion changes to Thursday nights (3/10- 4/14)
