American Red Cross Lifeguard Program

Requirements

Participants must be:

-at least 15 years old

-able to swim 300 yards

(200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle or Breaststroke)

-able to retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the pool

-able to swim 15 yds underwater

-Registration minimum 6

-Registration maximum 12

COURSE FEE: (check made out to Sayville Public Schools)

-$200 for Sayville residents

-$210 for Non-Sayville residents

Certification costs: (separate check)

-$80 for all (CPR/AED, First Aid, Lifeguarding)

-$40 for CPR potion only

-$20 for CPR pocket mask

Class Meetings:

- 7pm – 10pm at Sayville Middle School, room 223

- Prerequisite class May 5, 2016

- CPR portion May 9th -13th

- Lifeguard portion changes to Thursday nights (5/19- 6/16)
