School Supplies donated by DAR and C.A.R.

The Col. Josiah Smith Patchogue Chapter and Captain Austin Roe Society donated school supplies to the Patchogue Youth Community Center!

School supplies should be an easy item to acquire- and the Col. Josiah Smith Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and children of the Captain Austin Roe Society of Patchogue want to make sure it is easy for every child! A collection of items filled the dining table of Regent Dr. Joan Graham Nathan. Chaplain Graham Nathan and Librarian Coco Nathan-Barry carried in many needed items to the Patchogue-Medford Youth and Community Services Center on Thursday August 24th. Naomi Kirkup, Eliana Kirkup, Nathanael Kirkup, and Jeremiah Kirkup presented collections as well, including a much needed calculator for middle school student! The assistant director, Teresa Reilly, and staff member Jennifer were delighted! Teresa Reilly said she has requests for 73 children and these items will be a big help to this need! Heidi Nathan-Barry, Brian Barry directed the children in their community service project. Sebastian Barry will be ready to carry in items next year!
