School Supplies donated by DAR Col. Josiah Smith

The Col. Josiah Smith Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) collected school supplies for the Patchogue-Medford Youth and Community Services Center on Bay Avenue, Patchogue. The mission of this non-profit agency is to enhance the quality of life for the families of the Patchogue-Medford communities through outreach, education, recreation, counseling, and support services. DAR is also a non-profit organization. Today's DAR is comprised of women who have a direct ancestor who supported the American Revolution. They are vibrant women of diverse lives who joyfully volunteer to make our communtiy a great place to live. Our children in the community need to have everything for a great education.
