Spin Doctors, Crash Test Dummies To Play May Day Festival On Saturday

The lineup includes The Smithereens with special musical guest Marshall Crenshaw, Deer Tick, Sahara Moon, and others at Southaven Park.

YAPHANK, NY — The Spin Doctors will headline the May Day Music Festival at Southaven Park in Yaphank on Saturday, in an all-star lineup, including the Crash Test Dummies and The Smithereens with special musical guest Marshall Crenshaw.

The Suffolk Associated Municipal Employees-sponsored event will run from 12 to 10 p.m.

Other acts billed to appear include Deer Tick, Sahara Moon, and Dave Hause and the Mermaid.

Regional acts on the bill include Cassandra House, The Dirty Vice Band, Melanie Morin, Pete Mancini and the Hillside Airmen, Pretty Vacant, and The Famous Doctor Scanlon Band.

Tickets run about $50.
