St. Joseph's Women's Soccer Draws Swarthmore in NCAA First Round

Indianapolis, IN| After claiming its first Skyline Conference title in a 2-1 win over Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday, the St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) women’s soccer team was selected to face Swarthmore College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Monday afternoon.
Swarthmore, located just outside of Philadelphia, PA, enters the first round ranked 12th in the nation with a 16-2-1 record. The Garnet earned an at-large bid, having lost to Johns Hopkins University in the Centennial Conference Tournament on November 8.
In his first season leading the Golden Eagles, head coach Nic DeZenzo leads St. Joseph’s into the tournament for the first time in program with a 9-9-1 (6-3 Skyline) record.
