Suffolk County Businesses Sold Alcohol to Minors: Police

Three people were arrested Monday night for selling alcohol to minors while working in Suffolk County, police say.

According to authorities, two business were found to be in violation following an underage alcohol sting operation that was held from 8 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.

Police arrested and charged the following workers with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a minor after they were allegedly caught selling alcohol to a minor at their place of business:

• Robert Pavanello, 30, of Mastic Beach, employed by Hero Haven, located at 478 Neighborhood Road, Shirley
• Jahayra Delgado, 21, of Shirley, employed by Handy Pantry, located at 321 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach
• Jamilei Enderle, 33, of Mastic Beach, employed by Handy Pantry, located at 630 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic Beach

All three workers were issued a field appearance ticket and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on June 27.

The following businesses were found to be in compliance:

• Handy Pantry, located at 238 Moriches Middle Island Road, Shirley
• Deli/Beer/Smoke, located at 44 Surrey Circle, Shirley
• Parkway Deli and Convenience, located at 431 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley
• Mastic Market and Deli, located at 234-2 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley
• 7-Eleven, located at 228 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley
• Oakwood Superette, located at 525 Neighborhood Road, Shirley
• USA Gas, located at 450 Neighborhood Road, Shirley
• Towne and Country Deli, located at 157 Commack Road, Mastic Beach
• Track Gas Station, located at 510 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach
• Village Food Mart, located at 65 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic Beach
• 7-Eleven, located at 210 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic
• International Dominican Deli, located at 199 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic Beach
• SFK Deli and Convenience, located at 575 Mastic Road, Mastic Beach
• Exxon Gas, located at 1525 Montauk Highway, Mastic
• Valero Gas, located at 125 County Road 51, Eastport
• Cumberland Farms Gas, located at 498 County Road 111, Manorville
