DEER PARK, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects they say stole seven catalytic converters from businesses in Deer Park this month.
Police said the men stole the catalytic converters from an industrial complex on Acorn Street between 1 and 2 a.m. on Aug. 17. Two of the parts were first stolen from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, then another one from the Wendel Home Center, police said. Another four of the parts were stolen from 1-800-Got-Junk, then the men drove away in a white Ford Explorer with no front license plate, according to police.
