Suspect Sought In E-Bike Battery Swipe In North Patchogue: Police
It was swiped from the Sunrise Highway location on June 19 at around 12:44 p.m., Suffolk police say.
NORTH PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect they say swiped an electric bike battery from Dick's Sporting Goods in North Patchogue back in June.
It was swiped from the Sunrise Highway location on June 19 at around 12:44 p.m., according to police.
The battery is valued at around $260, police said.

The crime has been classified grand larceny, a felony, according to a news release.
In an image pulled from security video, the man can be seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants, and a black baseball cap.
