Suspect Used Stolen Credit Card Used At Walmart In Suffolk: Police

The card was stolen from Stop and Shop in Shirley, Suffolk police said.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A man used a stolen credit card used at Walmart in Yaphank in March, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

A credit card was stolen from Stop and Shop on Montauk Highway in Shirley on March 8 at around 12 p.m., and a short time later, a man used it to make a purchase at Walmart up William Floyd Parkway in Yaphank, according to police.

In a video surveillance image released by police, a male suspect can be seen wearing glasses, a surgical mask, a dark-colored blazer, and a pair of blue jeans.

The crime has been classified as grand larceny, according to police.
