Suspect Wanted In Suffolk Convenience Store Robbery

A man robbed a clerk of cash at Quick Stop Super Deli on Station Road on Oct. 23, waving "what appeared to be a gun," cops say.

BELLPORT, NY —Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man they say robbed a Bellport convenience store in October.

Police said a man went inside Quick Stop Super Deli on Station Road, and waved "what appeared to be a handgun" before robbing a clerk of cash on Oct. 23 at about 8:40 p.m.

In an image taken from video surveillance, the man can be seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie and gray or blue pants, and his face is covered with a mask.

Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
