Suspect Wanted In More Than $1K Cologne Snatch From Ulta In Patchogue: Police

Multiple bottles of cologne worth around $1,309 were taken on Jan. 13 at around 4:15 p.m., Suffolk police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect detectives say snatched multiple bottles of cologne worth around $1,309 from Ulta Beauty in Patchogue earlier this month.

It happened on Jan. 13 at around 4:15 p.m., police said.

In images taken from security video, the man can be seen wearing an orange baseball cap, blue jeans, and a long white t-shirt, as well as white sneakers.

The crime has been classified as grand larceny, a felony, according to a police news release.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store, or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com.

All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
