SUV Crashes Into Utility Pole In Yaphank; No Injuries Reported: Police

PSE&G workers were called to the scene to fix the pole, Suffolk police said.

YAPHANK, NY — An SUV skidded off Mill Road into a utility pole, damaging it, in Yaphank late Wednesday, Suffolk police said.

A man was driving a Chevrolet Suburban just before 11 p.m. when it skidded off the road and into the pole, according to police.

No injuries were reported after the crash. PSE&G workers were called to the scene to fix the pole.
